Scale?

Ok I know that 1 torque meter = 32 quark units. but I want to make a 5000 meter long interior and 160,000 units seems a bit excessive and the textures are incredibly small. I have tried making it 2 units - 1 meter but the textures seem to be too big that way. Does anyone have a happy medium where the scale isn't ridiculous and the textures still look nice?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Its actually a 5 Kilometer long linear indoor race track. I figured that it would be easier to do it a one whole dif, but I suppose I could break it up into multiple ones. Its height and width are only about 200 meters. If any of you have a suggestion on how I should do this let me know. Thanks

I have had issues with excessivly large dif's in torque, something to do with the lightmap when you re-light the scene it would crash the engine. There appears to be a limit to single brush size so if you do make it as a single dif and you have the dif crash on lighting make sure to break the brushes up into several smaller ones.

5000m seems like a really large building. The CN towers only about 553m tall and thats the tallest freestanding structure in the world. I'm sure you mean sideways but thats still massive.
