Decentralized MMO/Metaverse

Hi all. I've been interested in the prospects an open source decentralized mmo/metaverse for quite some time. There are quite a few projects but most seem to be proof of concept. If anyone else is interested in this area of "game" development I've created a blog as a place to explore architectural sketching of such a system. Comments and contributors are appreciated.
