Wall/jump bug

Hi,

ive got some nasty bug. well a images says more than words so take a look at this example:

the orc gets stuck or can "jump" very high in corners. how to fix this?

That's wild; I've never seen that one before. Is this happening in a stock, unmodified version of Torque?

Yes, just mess around with keep pressing the jump key (try it in the corners)

Changing the
jumpSurfaceAngle = 80;
might help fix this

I already tryed; didnt work but ill try to set it extremely low

Just tested it and noticed it too, though I only noticed it in the walls that are slight slanted outwards

I haven't had this problem, mostly because mine usually crashes when I jump in cornors, or I get stuck.

One soultion might be to change the collision boxes, if it's a model, or if it's from QuArK or WorldCraft, you could create an invisible wall. All I can think of for now.

I have had this problem as well, but I thought it was a collision problem with one of the torches, and its only in that one corner of the room.
