Soldier Pack quirk

Hi there.
I recently bought the Soldier pack, very cool, excellent work on the texturing, but I am experiencing a small quirk.
I cannot see the rifle in 1st person mode. 3rd person works fine, its where I expect it to be.
The wierd thing is if I load the crossbow, in 1st person it works fine, I see it as normal with Kork, but in 3rd person it is at a wierd angle, pointing upwards somewhat, and over large.
Can anyone say offhand what this might be? I'll look at it when I get the time, I'm sure its nothing big, but maybe someone knows a quick fix?
Thanks.

I Think that maybe it is related to something about the prefs section (prefs::player::rendermyitems).
I will dig into and let you know if I will solve the problem.

Does anyone have the fixed version they can send me?

The "overly large"-ness of the crossbow when compared to the soldier is not a bug or mistake(AFAIK). It's just that the Orc's scale is much larger than most Torque games want/need(aprx 2x the sixe of the soldier).

That is not the issue. Its the weapon (crossbow) if mounted points in a different direction (upwards) and the same holds true with the mounted m16 in 3rd person view. In first person view they appear to be normal. See the original post in this thread. Thats the issue I am having. Michael

The issue on the mount nodes was fixed. Though you'll have to wait until the SoldierPack.zip on the GarageGames server is updated.

I'm very dissapointed in the rotated mount points in this pack.
It does not work "out of the box" with standard Torque models and requires the buyer to fix it and re-export it...
I'm amazed it was released like this.

Also I hear the model/gun things were corrected and given to GG, when will this be posted for download?

I have the soldier pack and have a couple problems other than the gun pointing the wrong direction. In MAX5 when I export the left hand is not holding the front grip it's moved off to the left and a bit forward. Like the bone has been moved out and away from the gun. The origional model shows gun and left hand in proper position. Was there a hiccup in the model or did I mess it up in export? No changes were made to the model, just export. Also I hear the model/gun things were corrected and given to GG, when will this be posted for download?

This pack needs to get updated with its fix. We bought this to speed up development of a demo that has to be ready by the end of next month, this flaw is slowing things up.
