Intermediate level 9 HELP

I cannot figure this level out!!! I would be able to do it if it wasn't for the stupid (^@&*$^@*&^ time limit!!! What are all the little power things for? I've tried going down to the lower level and jumping up to get the jems but it doesn't work!!!!!!!!

any help would be AWESOME!!!

I speed down the left side, speed back, go down the nearest bunch of blocks to get the gem by rolling off and landing in the bottom, hit the spring and jump up onto the right-hand blocks just above the spring, get the gem and jump across to the final platform.
