Remember Me' Login Feature Broken

Corresponding with Rick Overman's .Plan that he "made a huge behind the scenes site update." The "Remember Me" login feature has stopped functioning and I have had to login each new morning.

I have to login more often as well, both on a Windows machine at work or a Linux machine at home.

Same problem here. Firefox, WinXP Pro. Every since the .plan post, I've had to re-login in a couple times a day every day. Very strange :(

Everyday I go to work and at some point browse over to GG. It always has forgotten me from the day before and have to login, checking the 'Remember Me' box naturally. When I get home in the evenings I have a similar experience.
Hope this helps.
PS. I use explorer at home and at work.

Ditto. Same with IE and FireFox. Not a big deal.

I also am having to login every day. One thig I noticed this morning is everytime I logged in and tried to go directly to the Community page, it forgot who I was. I did that about 5 times. As soon as I went to another page first (Game Store), then to Community it saved it. I just checked and the garagegames.com RememberMe cookie says it doesn't expire until August 26, 2005.

For me, it seems to happen when I switch computers. Which makes sense now that I think about it. I have a number of places that I go where I have to relogin when it notices I'm coming from somewhere different than I was previously.

Same here doesn't remeber me either. And I hadn't had to log in since about 3 months ago when I cleared out all my cookies.

Same here - same behaviour as you guys have. I also use 2 computers (one at home, one at work). Once I've used either I definitely need to login on the other. But sometimes just separate sessions will have me relogin

I use one comptuer to login, and I get the same errors, and I visit the site atleast 5+ times over the course of the day.

Has anyone checked to see when their "RememberMe" cookie is set to expire? Mine is currently set to Aug 25th. At which time I would expect to have to re-login. I wonder if they had it set to expire too soon.

Ok. It just caused me to re-login even though I still had the "RememberMe" cookie. Guess that was a bad guess.

Same here - IE 6, Windows XP Pro. I tried deleting the cookie altogether and having it regenerated at next login. Seems somewhere between a few hours and a day that it forgets me. I wouldn't swear to it, but I thought I've logged in in the AM, tried again an hour later and it remembered me but later that day (maybe 4-8 hours later from first login) it seems to forget me.

I noticed a discrepancy with the "last login" feature of the profile page: It seems to have stopped updating after July 19th.
Click on just about anyone's profile and see for yourself. =\

Kirby: You're right, everyone I check is last logged in on 7/19. That's the date of the .plan mentioned in the first post as well. Hmmm... curiouser and curiouser ;)

I'm using Firefox. I checked out my cookies and see that I have 5 different Garagegames Cookies. My "remember me" cookie is set to expire in a month, but there is a _utmb cookie that expires in an hour. Could the site be looking at the wrong cookie or something?Kirby: You're right, everyone I check is last logged in on 7/19. That's the date of the .plan mentioned in the first post as well.
