Built in Editor

Greetings,
Im Gamesaint, and I am new to the torque community. I am not a programmer so bear with me if I sound lost. Does the torque sdk have a built in mission editor or do I have to use an external program like worldcraft to get that interface stuff to show up like I saw in the nice screenshots on the Homepage? Please help because I dont understand what I have to do to get started making levels. Thanks, GS out.

heres a cool page on some ingame mission editing stuff for t2 (should be simular to torque) as far as i can understand worldcraft is for creating new missions and the torque mission editor is for editing missions already mady made (someone will correct me if im rong)you will be able to edit add ,remove ,resize and even add to scripts whith th etorque mission editor, there is a blank mission on that page (link) altho i have gotin in to the actual missin building stuff yet it may be a goo place to start.

world crafe 3.3 is free and not that hard to understand so iam told,,,,i also under stand you will need a 3d program for making objects to place in your missions (again someone will correct me if i am rong)

Worldcraft or other .map editors are to build buildins and other simpler objects.

You go in game to the mission editor and place those build objects as well as models or other entities, and viola! you have a mission!

You find good tutorials in the doc-section on this page, or also on www.thewall.de
about WorldCraft.
Some basic informations and tutorials are also in the doc/tools/ directory from torque.

On the subject of creating missions/maps, does anyone know whether there is a solution for creating .map files on the Macintosh aside from Quiver? I ask this because this will probably be the deciding factor as to whether or not I purchase the SDK. I am a Mac type of person, and REALbasic is not the most 3D-friendly platform out there ;-)
