Darwin: animating non-bipeds

Has anyone seen the new Darwin 3DS MAX plug-in that is for sale at www.digimation.com? It looks awesome for creating new and interesting creatures for video games. Different parts of various animals can be blended together to create interesting and new creatures. It blends both the meshes and textures across an appropriate skeleton. But, can Torque animate non-bipeds type skeletons? For example, what if a creature has a skeleton similar to a lizard or a T-Rex? How about a four-legged skeleton, with a tail, like a dog or cat? Can Torque currently animate these type of skeletons, or would some serious work be needed? If the latter, what would be needed?

Thanks,

Chad

There are no limitations to the types of skeletons that can be used with the Torque engine. If you can build it, it can be used. The only limitation is that split skeletons are not allowed, but there are workarounds to this limitation if it is absolutely necessary to do so.
