So what's the trick?

Okay, while I am aware that this is on the site many times, nothing ever happens for me so can someone plase do a step by step thing? I have an imac if that makes a difference.

The $testcheats thingy. Whenever I press ctrl+F10 and the window ceoms up, I type $testcheats=1; and nothing happens. What exactly is meant to happen and what are you meant to do?

This is for editing levels and u can cheat too. to cheat, press F8 or some key and the camra mode chnges and u can fly around with the camra. then u press F7 or some key to drop the marble. it helps. to edit or make a level, press F11 or some key to make it go to the level editing place. the keys F1,F2,F3, and F4 are the keys that does the trick. F4 it wat u realy need. i have a g5.
if F11 hides the window or "dosnt work" change it with ur computer settings. this should be of help.
