Sf.net - fps civilization 3D
http://www.freewebs.com/imperia2/ - Imperia game web site.

Am seeking who is interest in long term game development.
The ideas is finished, concept art is not yet started. But I have some art, in 1D. Am using the Torque engine for my game. The Imperia; Rise and Fall of Empire, In the Begining is an online game. To simulation the "time and space", am using a link. What ever character you use to enter the link, so will only "state of the art" technology be used, in that link period, each link is a 100 years, or more. So that person must be skilled or better in Torque engine, C++, Java, Maya 3D modeling, -Art, -Design, -Animation, and add all this to an working online game. My self are working with the Torque engine, and am trying out in example. Am not yet at game view. All are welcome to help out. I wonder is there some one at my location?

From your web site...

Quote:do you want to experience of driving a boat, car, tanks, or be a captain of a ships, spacecraft, star base, or other experience you want to experience. I love to move around in the land, sea, under earth, cave, under the sea, in the sky, in the orbit or in the space or something like that.

I think your aiming a little large, I'd suggest narrowing the scope of your game before building a team. Also, there is already a group using the Imperia name, you guys could combine forces and create an imperia from your two imperium.

I'm really interested in one-dimensional artwork myself. Care to show some examples?

Adam Schofield my game is very different from the game you are telling me about. You can visit my web site: http://www.freewebs.com/imperia2/ and my forum: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Imperia/index.php? , and if am aiming too big, that will be my own knowledge in C++, Java, 3D Art, 3D model and so on, except what am writen in my profile, like: 1D drawing/simple line, and you can't make a game with turbo pascal or MS VB. But am learning the Torque engine so I cane make a demo and hope I can get more help to make my game. I already use up many years, so I can still wait few more years.

Nauris Krauze visit my web site: http://www.freewebs.com/imperia2/ and my forum: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Imperia/index.php?. If you want more, then do tell.

@Henning. I was talking about the scope of your game being too large not the skills you bring to it, here is a resource about creating design documents (the first stepping stone ;)

As for your game being 'very different' from a game with the exact name, a) they're both games, b) they started using the name in 1996. So use it now and be forced to change the name later or whatever you feel is the best option.

@Nauris. Below is an example of a cube in 1, 2 and 3 dimensions.

Hi Matt, this will be my first full time. As I try to explain I have never done this in this moderation. If you remember "turbo pascal" all was made in lines with pip sound and no save option at all. So yeah this is my first, in real game, and that was back in 1985??, I think. :)

hi Adam Schofield, thanks
