Do you know Tweety (Sweety)?

Hi!
I'm working at a tamagotchi-game and i need a model, which instantly makes girls (or boys) say: "oh! look! isn't it cuuuuute!!!???"
Some of you may know Tweety respectively Sweety from Jamster (Jamba). This furry thing would be perfect, but i can't find such a model on the web. Does anyone of you know, where to get something like Tweety or somehting similar sweet and furry?
Another question: Torque (The 3DGAi1 version) doesn't support feathers, does it? is it possible to use alpha channels on skins?
If i had to make such a model by myself, could i use billboards to simulate its fur?

But i'm still not sure, how you (or your artist kevin) created them...
Ok, i could create some faces in milkshape, rotate them around but what about putting the texture on it?
I can't imagine how to unwrap such a "model" with an UV-Unwrapper, but maybe i should read the corresponding chapter in 3DGPAi1 again.
Or can't i imagine it, because it's impossible to do with milkshape and i need another program, which suits my needs for such a model? what about blender? I didn't work with it before, but there are tutorials...

Those bumbles look great! ;)But i'm still not sure, how you (or your artist kevin) created them...

It is a simple fur texture. Lines of hair. You create a plane (2 tris) ... Then you Texture it to make it look like the cross section you would get if you took a slice from the centre of the bumble. It should kinda look like a sun flare.
Then you duplicate it and rotate. Duplicate rotate. repeat... Do it in all 3 axis. This will create a sphere of planes with a fur texture on it. In milkshape to get the alpha channel to be transparent you have to slide the transparency slider (see the material rollout) to something other then f100%.
You should now have a ball of fur.
Placing eyes and mouth and legs on it is difficult. It doesn't like to sort right. The fur won't want to sort right either. There are some flags ::sort or something like that to help.
Let me know how that goes for you. You can email me if you need additional insight. See my profile for the addy.

It was done with alpha planes rotated at set angles. It has a regular mesh for legs, eyes, and mouth. Along with nodes for animating everything.
