Maya and torque

Hi
Ive encountred a problem
a)maya 6.0 (dts plugin installed) had a problem so we uninstalled it.
b)we re installed maya and dts plugin and tried to open the saved files
c)the file saved with dts plugin's details (.mb files)is not opening in maya 6.0 it is giving an error message as "// Warning: Errors have occurred while reading this scene that may result in data loss.

so how can i get our valuble files back into working condition

This is most likely an issue with something other than the maya2dts plugin. It could've been something caused by another plugin that you had installed previously, or it is another error that was caused by Maya itself. The maya2dts plugin is only used at export time and does not add anything to the scene file.

Perhaps you can try importing the problem files into new scenes. If that doesn't work, then your files are most likely lost. That warning you received is pretty generic and usually means some form of data corruption that is not recoverable.
