Blender and Torque

Ok, first of all, hi everyone, I'm Mat. I'm new to the whole programming and 3d art areas, so you can expect tons and tons of questions from me. Anyway, onto my question.
Basically, I made a model in Blender. Its a really simple, crappy shotgun mesh. First of all I'd like to know what I need to do to the mesh before exporting it. Like, does it need to be textured and all that stuff in blender? Secondly I'd like to know how to export it it, or a place that can tell me how to export it.
I'm sure these are questions you guys get all the time, but thanks for any help you can give me.
EDIT: And another question that has nothing to do with modelling but since I already made this topic I might as well ask it in here. Can someone tell me what the IRC address is?
