Projects and Companies - Why can't I???
by Michael Brewer · in General Discussion · 06/27/2005 (7:56 am) · 10 replies
I've tried to create a company and a project. After taking some time to create each, I was told the submission was successful. However, my profile still says that I am not associated with any companies or projects and I don's see them on the marketplace lists.
What gives? Is there a trick to doing this?

I venture to guess the reason why: Probably they are doing work on their Torque Developer Network site so they are letting this one fall behind.
Understandable, but not perfect.

FYI, posts like this, regarding web site issues, are best when they are actually posted in a forum section the web site developer actually reads: the Web Site Feedback forums!

So please, post a link to said forum.

Well let me apologize for not having spent the extensive time required to become familliar with each and every forum and sub-forum available here at GG. Even after looking through the list I dont' see any "Web Site Feedback" as a major or sub forum, nor do I see any that hints at GG Website Technical Support. So please, post a link to said forum.

Click on Forums at the top left of this page... Scroll down to the 6th heading which reads:
"GarageGames Site Feedback/Bugs"
Under which you'll find:
"Website Bugs"

I just realized that "Subscribed Forums" doesn't mean "Forums for those whom have purchased Torque (ie subscribers)" but is instead a list of forums I choose to have listed for reading. Now that I have seen the whole list of forums I see what I was missing. Sorry if I came off a bit snappy.
BTW, I just posted the project and it worked: http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=project&page=view.project&qid=3192

GG isn't letting this site fall down, and TDN won't replace these site in such a way. But with the last server move and core site rebump, some stuff got broken, and with all the work GG is having they haven't had a chance to fix everything yet, but if the problem persists you can post on the site feedback and it might get fixed sooner or later.
