Updates from Early adopter

I'm this close to buying the bad ass looking program, but i have 1 or 2 questions...When the finished version is to be released, how will upgrades be handled? It may sound stupid but i would rather know then not, will it be free? will anything other than a download be needed? i think im going to buy this even before i get an answer, it looks like that much fun, because money shouldnt stop a dream.

Same thing with Torque Game Engine.. the version for download now isnt the same as the version that was for sale years ago.
If they implement super new functionality, they'll probably split it up into a new product, such as the Torque Shader Engine.
