Paid 3d / texturing work

by David Watts · in Jobs · 06/23/2005 (11:28 am) · 12 replies

Hello,
I am a 3d artist looking for work. I have skills with Milkshape 3d (my primary modelling tool, allowing me to export to Torqe and many other engines), 3d Studio Max, Maya, and Cinema 4d. I am able to do Weapons, props, characters, and if neccesary can create maps.

My prices vary, and it very much depends on the work. A weapon like a P90 with a good amount of detail and a skin would probably be about $25 to $30, which is the average rate going on TurboSquid, and it is tailor made for you.

Here are some examples of my work:

Alien - High poly
Alien - Low poly
Weapon (Deringer pistol)
Prop (Suitable for static mesh use in maps)

And this is an example of the evolution of concept designs. Each of these was influenced by the critisism:

Initital - 1507 Pollys
Stage 2
Stage 3
Final - 1684 Pollys.

So, if you wish to hire me, please contact me at snipamasta@snipamasta.co.uk.
Thanks,
David Watts (SnipaMasta)

Actually, no, he should work for Pay...

He did the most pimp work for the SCGames crew. He'll have work from us for as long as we are in business.

This is just one of the projects with him:

There's someone in this thread that paid $100 for a lame female orc... maybe he'd pay you for a good one...

Great looking work. I got a good chuckle out of that derringer, it just struck me funny that there was a laser sight on it. Looks great!

Hey David, do you do animations too or not?

Your models have a very solid look. I like it. Nice work, David. :)

David Did you do the texture on the last P90 posted by Chris?

Reason I ask is your models seem fine but your texturing is lacking in the first examples you showed, but the texture in that p90 posted by Chris is quite nice :D

Jeff, I'm not as experienced with Animations, but I do have an animation package and do them, yes.

Rob, yes that is my skin. The difference in quality is because that other gun was back in July. And that deringer was in December (2004!). I took a break from modelling and such for a while, but I've just started to come back in it. The most recent example was the skin (not model and UV maps) for a sawed off shotgun, working on lowres maps (amounted to less than 1024X1024).
