Trackmania Sunrise

So I posted this previously, and the thread has disappeared with nary a trace, and not even an email to tell me why. I don't know whether there is some heavy-handed moderation happening, or if there was some general forum data loss. If the former... I'm not sure what to say. I've tried to find some forum rules disallowing any mention of games published by other companies, but I can't see anything.

The gist of my former post was that if you love Marble Blast, but have played it to death and would like to discover other similar games, then you should check out Nadeo's "Trackmania Sunrise". It looks like a car racing game, but in reality it's very like Marble Blast. Some of the game styles have other cars on the track besides you, but they pass right through you, so they don't interfere with your car (which is a good thing -- imagine other marbles bumping you about in MB!).

There are 'normal' Racing tracks, where the aim is to try to get the fastest time.

Platform levels involve lots of stunts, and you try to reach the finish line with as few 'resets' (usually due to falling off the track) as possible. This mode is my favourite, and then one that reminds me of MB the most.

Puzzle levels require you to fill in the gaps in a partial track with the built-in editor, and create the most efficient track to get to the finish as fast as possible. You must be devious with your designs if you want to win gold medals!

As I also said last time, if for some reason you are reading this but have not yet bought Marble Blast, then you should do that first!! For the rest of you who do own MB, you should definitely check out Trackmania Sunrise.
