High quality interiors, massive multiplayer

Greetings - I am new to the universe of gamers, (though I am old enough to remember playing 'Pong' in college...)

Just as a thought experiment, I was wondering how suitable this Torque stuff is for doing relatively high quality building interiors, whereby one might go fairly "straight" from 3D Studio Max files to relatively high performance BSP-tree like thingys (or whatever is 'native' to torque) people might walk around in...

The next question is how suitable a Torque front end might be for relatively small multiplayer (civilized) interactions, and for the big-time, perhaps bolt it up to an HLA-like event engine like OpenSkies (http://www.openskies.net/) , or perhaps the MAK stuff...

Finally, if anyone has thought of geometry streaming/caching/culling for huge, detailed environments. Imagine if you had the floor plans and interiors for an entire office building or apartment complex.

thanks!

Chris
