Does Kork have a wife?

Just curious to know if anyone has managed to make a female Orc model.
Would be interesting to see what it looks like.
I recently hired a guy who promised for $100 he would modify the current Orc model to create a female version.
I wasn't too pleased to say the least with his work, he basically just applied a pink filter to the Orc models Armor.
But for $100 what can you expect.
Anyways, just rambling, but has anyone tried this yet?

Sorry man but I think you got kinda had. I would definatly ask for a portfolio of the users art before attempting to pay for modeling services though.

For 100 bucks I would expect the model to be slimmed (women are generally smaller than men) for her to have the proper anatomy where it counts (keeping this G rated), Also having a slimmer type of face to give the more femminine look. Then have the person re-work the texture not to say a pink but a softer color.Sorry man but I think you got kinda had. Much more than a recolored skin.
I'd crush him, but then, that's just me. \C:

Hold it up as an example of outsourcing, how much it cost with the results and who did it. :-)
If anyone is interested, I have some contracts I use when outsourcing webdesign. They are a vital step in securing your investment. I myself have not bothered in the past if the cost was not much. Now I just fill in a template.
Just ask supportingit at hotmail.co.uk on MSN Messenger.

I'd say, rather than a name and shame.....Hold it up as an example of outsourcing, how much it cost with the results and who did it. :-)

The artist returned the funds quite awhile ago. I found out where he lived, called the number asked for the "artist". Found out my "professional artist" was some 15 year old kid.
His dad made sure the money was returned.

Bahh this event happened so long ago, what almost 6 months or a year? I figure why bother. The artist returned the funds quite awhile ago. I found out where he lived, called the number asked for the "artist". Found out my "professional artist" was some 15 year old kid.

Wait, you paid him the money first? Seems a bit silly to pay $100 and then put your trust in the artist that he/she will do a good job.

Yes, it can be a risk, which is why you should check out their portfolio and look for references.
Expecting people to do work, and have the chance that they get nothing if you change our mind and/or dont like what you have saked them to do for you is unacceptable, artists have to eat too you know (starving artists bite, I hear).
Have a look on the Graphic Artist Guild of America's website gag.org? for contract advice etc.

Most artists work on a 50% up front, and the remainder upon completion. If you are not happy with their concept, generally you walk away only having paid half.Yes, it can be a risk, which is why you should check out their portfolio and look for references.

Nevermind... I don't have a way to convert .MAX files to something MilkShape will recognise.

I could use $100. If I can modify the orc, and you like it, would you pay me? :D-Sparkling

Actually I hear Kork is fond of a young elf. It is quite the controversy in his home town of Muckville. No marriage plans of yet as there is a lot of fighting between the families.: )
