Crossbow crashes 3ds max 7

I tried loading the crossbow from the fps demo into max 7 and it crashes it.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem. I was going to try to find my old Max 3 CD, and see if I could load it with that. Problem is finding the dongle after all these years.
