Well, the Grease Monkeys weekly recap was great... It went over everything that was going on, from big news to hot threads to peoples personal .plans...
Then he switched to just covering the major things.
It was supposed to come out every Sunday or Monday... Last week it was released Tuesday (no big deal) .... now it is Wednesday, and still no Grease Monkey post ?
Grease Monkey.... Where's the scoop my hairy little friend ? Are you just too busy ? Is there not enough exciting news to warrent a weekly recap ? Did someone assassinate you ? Don't you like us anymore ?

I am pretty sure he already stated (in a prevous recap) that he is from the UK.

If you spot him, back away slowly and avoid eye contact. Beware of flying poo!

I heard a rumor that he got a job with a big UK developer working on some kind of MMO game involving glowing cylinders... but what do I know, you know how IRC is. Maybe GG is taking applications for the new grease monkey and someone just needs to step forward... but from what I read of the brief few blogs that were posted, it sure looked like a lot of work.

It's a lot of work to read thru everything. And then on top of that to actually understand it and comment on it. And then to do it for free. Whew. I hope that she/he didn't just give up. I hope it was a new job or something. But if he/she did give up... who can blame them. I can't imagine doing that every week. For free that is. Maybe for a paycheck. Or fame. Or to pick up on chicks.
Nah. I still couldn't do it. :)
Good luck Grease Monkey where ever you are! :)

Grease Monkey sure did seem to give the daily snapshot a jump start for a while there. Man, once people's stuff was being talked about it seemed like a whole bunch of projects came out of the woodwork. That was pretty cool to see. It's a lot of work to read thru everything.
