Distributing the games

In your distributing partners list you have: shockwave, realmarcade, yahoo games among others. I have some questions. For example do games run on the realmedia screen? or they just help promote the games by advertising them and selling them? how does this work? do they have a quality control? I would like to know more. thanks.
