Hi all!
I've recently started mapping on my G5, and i have to say its a lot of fun, but ive got one problem: When i type in coordinates to move an object i first have to move it with the mouse before it goes where i want it to, and then i have to move it again a bit with the mouse... ive already tried typing the coordinates, then clicking the apply button and then pressing enter, but it doesnt move
greets

When I go to the console, and I type in $testCheats = 1; it doesn't work.
When I push F11, nothing happens!

If you haven't done so already, try switching camera view (Camera menu -> Toggle Camera or Apple/Command-C on the keyboard). It's easier to grab the X Y Z handles from the non-marble view.
If you want to do a quickie alignment of a duplicate object, try setting the menu to Drop at Centroid.
Select an object.
CONTROL-C
CONTROL-V
Move one of X Y Z handle of the new object. It will be perfectly aligned with the first.
Have fun! -RJ
