Moved) Torque documentation Moved

As I mentioned in the New Site thread, there are sections missing from the torque documentation section. In particular, the second half of the "Torque Script" section III is missing. The missing section dealt with Animation, Triggers, Collision and Interaction Keys. Among other sections, the section on exporting shapes with Milkshape is missing as well.

There are at last count roughly 13 current open issues/bugs with the new site rollout. This one is on the list, but hasn't yet been researched. It will be looked at as soon as Rick can get to it!

However, absolutely as quickly as I can find someone to help convert the text into the appropriate format, we will be putting these chapters back online as resources, and as articles on the Torque Developer Network (our forthcoming wiki-based community documentation site).
Thanks for the heads-up here and sorry I didn't put two and two together right away. Too much stuff going on at once lately. :)

Sean, sorry I should've figured this out sooner. Actually, removing these chapters was a conscious decision we made. Those chapters were pretty weak, and didn't quite belong in the official docs. However, absolutely as quickly as I can find someone to help convert the text into the appropriate format, we will be putting these chapters back online as resources, and as articles on the Torque Developer Network (our forthcoming wiki-based community documentation site).

it just doesnt make sense to me and although it doesnt have to, i still have to voice my disagreement with this decision. not only are there people like me who were right in the middle of reading it, but theres apparently others who just bought the engine and are now encountering links from previous posts and downloaded reference material which now point to parts of the documentation which dont exist anymore. whats going to account for the huge backlog of posts and resources which link back to missing parts of the old docs?

I still dont see what was the point of totally dispensing with these sections of the documentation. weak? why? the section explaining how to import shapes into torque from milkshape was weak while equivalent the section for exporting from maya isnt?it just doesnt make sense to me and although it doesnt have to, i still have to voice my disagreement with this decision. not only are there people like me who were right in the middle of reading it, but theres apparently others who just bought the engine and are now encountering links from previous posts and downloaded reference material which now point to parts of the documentation which dont exist anymore. whats going to account for the huge backlog of posts and resources which link back to missing parts of the old docs?
