DTS objects flickering

Hi,

I want to use DTS buildings (skyscrapers) in TGE.

I read on forum that DTS is not recomended for "large" buildings because sometimes they will not be rendered or will cause flickering on screen.

I made a test and I experienced these issues. Meaning I observed that sometimes a certain DTS building isn't drawn on screen. If I moved the camera close to a building (close but not entering it) and I turned around then sometimes I saw a very disturbing flickering on the screen.

I read about these problems on the forum (that the DTS has problems with large objects), but nobody specified what a large object is -- one with a high polygon count or just large on screen?

Could someone help me to fix these problems? Would it help if I reduced the polygon count of the object buildings?

I think a DTS object is culled out of rendering if its center is offscreen.

So 'large' is kind of subjective, and reducing polys wouldn't help.

There was a recent thread which mentioned this and possibly some work-arounds; unfortunately i forget the details.

I'm not sure about the flickering issue.
