Making water fall?

How would i go about making water Fall off something like a cliff?

Err sorry that doesnt help me.. i know how to add particle emiters to a map... and i dont have the Torque engine.. so i cant modify the base coding.. its for Tribes 2

All of the code in that thread is script only. You should be able to create the effect you want without source. Of course there is a chance that a good looking waterfall will create enough particles to bring T2 to its knees - the only way to know for sure is to try tho.

You could make a water fall in 3d max with animated textures and place that in the game.

Hmmm yeah i was thinking about the 3d max thing.. i have a pretty good system and can run T2 at a good 30+ fps with about 10 peeps on screen.. but i put 3 emiters on a cliff on full blast and T2 died... so i guess i have to go with 3dsmax... but it died too i need an Authorization code and help desk (or whatever its called) wont send me one.
