Hey all , I been trying for about 2 weeks now to get a server sorted out. I can launch the game as a solo player but i have no clue and believe me i tried alot of things to try and host while someone else trs to join.

I based my coding from the book Ken wrote but i have no luck with sitting up a master or a dedicated server . Even if i could set up a dedicated server i don't think anyone could see it as they would need to query the master server to find it would they not.

Can anyone point me some useful links or what not to get this server and hosting prob sorted out. We have been doing alot of modeling for our game but we can only veiw them in single player and would like to try to do it in multi player.

What sort of problems are you having? GG already provides you a master server.

Ok i wasn't sure if i was allowed to use this server for working on my game.

The problem i was having was tring to get up a Master server and connect to it.
I was downloaded PushButton Master server as a base. But none of my hosting servers were showing up.

But if i'm allowed to run of the master server here at GG until i get further ahead that would be great and save a bit of my mind in the porcess

That's what it's there for. All the currently shipping Torque games use it. :)

I use c3masterserver and perl on windows machines and it works fine... only thing i changed was the ports.
