Who here is primarily an artist?

It seems to me that most people who bought a T2D license are primarily programmers. I feel like a minority here, being primarily a 2D artist. Is anyone in the same boat as me? If so, could you post a link to a website with your work? I'm interested in what art talent lies here under the radar.
To get the ball rolling (though ever so slowly, being a 2 year old website with ONLY sketches, and NO updates), I'll post mine.
Here's my site, Humanahaba.
It's got nothing worth looking at really, EXCEPT for a cool paint bbs I put on there. If you feel fanciful, please add to it. It's pretty powerful for what it is. You can even save animations of your drawing! And play back animations of others drawing. It's very interesting to me.

Only site I "have" with the few pieces of art there being 1+ years old with the exception of the latest sketch:

I'm an artist too, though trying to be a programmer too and still getting used to game art.Only site I "have" with the few pieces of art there being 1+ years old with the exception of the latest sketch:

I was actually beginning to get the feeling that most T2D users were artists first and programmers second, or at least closet artists. Mainly after seeing everyones screenshots:P

p.s. Dave that bbs is awesome, really!

Does music count as art? www.norecordlabel.com check out the artist called "Big AL". When I release a game it will be a snapshot of my programming, art and music skills at that time, so I guess then you will have your answer.p.s. Dave that bbs is awesome, really!

Thanks. Yeah, the layout is silly. But I'm not too worried about userfriendliness, unless I have an actual portfolio there. I hadn't seen anyone do what I did, so I'm willing to deal with a bit of confusion to keep it. I look forward to your Oekaki drawing! And to seeing your art if you throw some up.
@Matt:
Nice work. Yeah, it's a bit tough learning all this from scratch. This is my first time doing game art, so it's a great learning experience. I'm working on the animation at the moment, and I'm having a blast.
@Alex:
Music completely counts. I look forward to seeing your game. Is it going to be a music based game? THAT I'd like to see come out of this community. It's one of my favorite genres of games.

I'm an artist first and programmer...umm.. lets say, I know some programmers :)

I'm senior designer for a company making on-line casino games, and do a fair bit of game scripting too.
I have nothing TGE or T2D related to show though, but hopefully will have in a few months time.
Site needs updating (doesn't it always!) but here you go anyway: www.thumpa.net

I'm an artist with a technical streak, but certainly far off being a programmer ;)I'm senior designer for a company making on-line casino games, and do a fair bit of game scripting too.

I'm a musician and sound engineer first, with animation as a hobby (I'm between ISPs, but you can check out an extremely zoomed in character test animation at llc.du.edu/oik976/projposc2.mov)
(Just so that it's clear...in that test demo, the character art is mine...the placeholder background graphics and projectiles came with the engine. Don't want to tick anyone off thinking I am claiming their work.)
Last and probably least, I'm a programmer...started out teaching myself actionscript, now I'm working on Torquescript; and down the road am gonna take the plunge into C++.
Oh yeah, I'm a mac boy...and if any of you are curious, the engine you are seeing is definately not Torque 2D.

That looks like The Green Machine. Nice animation by the way.

Chris, It's the new engine by the same creator. It's pretty amazingly robust now that the editor is up and running. I was trying to avoid dropping names because I wasn't sure if GG was one of those places that gets ticked about people talking about other folks projects / tools.

Oh, cool. I'll have to check that out. The Green Machine had potential. Not like T2D, but still. (There, that last bit oughta keep anyone from striking us down for mentioning non-GG engines, heh heh.)

At least my art serves to motivate my programmer friends. I'll have to post some things eventually.
But more importantly, since we have a good base of artists involved here, i think we should offer our perspective to GG while T2D is still in development. I've made a post on the "Suggestions" forum for a more graphic interface when it comes to uploading artwork in T2D and making objects out of it. Please check it out, as i think what i described there would make things easier for us visual thinkers at least in the begining stages. If you like it, or you have any of your own suggestions to add, please add them to the thread! I'm interested to see what you have to say.

I am primarily an artist with alot of programmer friends! And i'm quite good at frustrating them with all my ideas. I've actually resolved myself that i've got to learn at least some programming just so i can contribute, as well as be somewhat self sufficient.At least my art serves to motivate my programmer friends. I'll have to post some things eventually.

I'm definitely not an artist. Unfortunately i'm not a great programmer either. I'm just a guy who loves to play games and always wants to make his own. I'll do it someday, too =)

I have to really get around to putting a portfolio up online. It's not like I don't have the webspace. :-p You've got some really nice art up on your site. Interesting (though a tad confusing) layout.
edit: Ooooh, Oekaki! Haven't touched that in some time. :) I might give it a shot later tonight.
