$100 per programmer or $100 per dev team??

Please make this more clear.
I am a programmer for a Dev team of 6, one other is/ may be a programmer, others are artists and modelers and mappers etc...
when we decide to purchase the sdk, will we need to pool out money for $100 if we have one programmer or $200 for two programmers or will we need to pay $600?
We want the other members of te dev team to be able to check out the progress in order for them to make corrections and observations. so will the programmers be able to distribute copies to them or what?
Do you understand where i am coming from?

So .cs and .gui script files are NOT considered source files?

Correct. If you want to give compiled versions of your work to artists or scritpers, they don't need to pay the $100. Only people that will be seeing or changing the .cc/.h files have to pay.Josh

Bryan has it correct. $100 per programmer that actually uses the source code.Jeff Tunnell GG

Well, GG has been so generous that they included the source code for us to modify, as well as learn from. A lot of things can only be done in code rather than scripting.

If you want to substantially change how Torque works, you will need the C++ source. If you don't understand the difference between source code and binary, then you should probably look into some programming tutorials...

between source and binary, but i want to know we have to modify the
TGE to use is, so it isn't a complete game engine and ready to
use...? if it is, we don't need to pay any additional to use the source and recompile it with costum features, do we?. and if there is something me to be wrong please
clarify, thanks.

*IF* that is what you want that is.

Depends what you want to do. If you want a standard FPS game, then no, you dont have to look at the source code, dont need access to it, and can use the precompiled binary.*IF* that is what you want that is.

Thanks to you sebastien, exactly we want to work at a standard FPS like game so it seems not the engine to get changed and we can use the provided files in SDK.

The SDK is what you pay the $100 for...
