Some of you may have played my newest bug-exploiting level, Rocket Ship. If you have at all enjoyed it, I invite you to join my little RS clan. I have been working on many more rocket-themed levels, and would like to have a group of people who know how to 'launch' to test them with.

For those of you who have not 'launched':

A rocket ship is designed so that, when you enter it and fire a burst at short range at a ResourceObject, it propels you at a insanely fast speed for many miles in the direction the rocket was pointing.

The classic level is a competition to see how far you can get with rocket power.

I am developing CTF, Zone Controll, and Retrieve rocket levels, that make use of the rockets ability to travel long and random distances.

NOTE: Rocket ship levels may only be played by registered users, as you require bursts.

    Finished Rocket CTF. Working on Shipyard level- a wide selection of launcher ships for testing. Also working on Rocket Retrieve level.

    Shipyard is ready and working! Interestingly, I have been able to develop ships that do not require bursts to work. This means guest users can now do rocket launches!

    Working on Rocket Retrieve, and a system to allow a player to fly around while trapped in a TestItem.

    Cal is a clanwhore...he changes clans the way most people change underwear...The rocket exploit is neat, but I couldn't get it to work regularly.

    Yes, Cal has started his own clan now apparently- .reb

    I am working on creating the perfect rocket- the difficulty is maintaining a consistent speed that everyone will enter the launching chamber at.

    Rocket Retrieve is huge, working on trimming it down. Have managed to trap self in a TestItem for several seconds, while it moved around with my ship. Working on "Invisible Maze" level.

    Furbuggy here,
    Hamster and I have made new types of rockets. The first prototype works almost three times as often as the orginal, but sends you irregular distances. The next one in testing sends you the same distance every time, but the distance isn't ver far... lol. The third, sends you more or less the same distance every time, and is very relable. It requires one person to stay behind and launch the others, but is still fun.

    We are still testing out new stuff, and soon will make much better rockets.

    When do you host your server I don't see it much
    ....maybe its because I haven't been playin much-dunno lol

    Thanks guerrito. I also play under different aliases sometimes... [cryptic smile]

    IMPORTANT NEWS: Clan .N1NJ4 and clan .RS have entered into an alliance! Furbuggy and I are 'diplomats,' so to speak.
    We thought it would be a nice change if there were some clans that were allied instead of warring. (cough.kill.antikillcoughcough)

    And yes, I am working on squeezing out the bugs from the .RS dedicated server. It will be up soon!

    On the design front:
    Updated rockets in classic rocket level- they dont require bursts, and they look cooler.
    Fur and I made a 2 person rocket that shoots people a certain distance. This is a step closer to making smaller scale rocket levels.
    TestItem encapsulation project coming along slowly. I am very annoyed with those things now.

    IMPORTANT NEWSv.2: Actually, the clans are not allied. Popcorn and I had a brief chat.
    Back to clan rivalries.

    On the design front:
    Did fixer-upper work on non-rocket levels
    I hate TestItems with the firey passion of a thousand flaming suns. Encapsulation project coming to a grinding halt.

    When did I join .RS? I was unaware that I was a member...nobody asked me and I didn't request it. I'd prefer not to join any clans, if possible.

    Yeah. Usually, when I do the update on new members, I look through the user list. Unless you were on a pipe dream, iPod, you should remember that you made an accound with .RS at the end.

    Ah, yes. Master.rs has joined. Seeing as how he has informed me that he has a G5 with a T3 connection, I will be having him host the dedicated server for the .RS clan. This server should be up within a week or so.

    On the Design Front:
    Working on levels that will appeal to those who dislike my rockets and speed zones

    That's not necessarily true...anyone could make a k.RS login and it wouldn't be me. We don't have control over that stuff yet.

    I understand the thing about the Yahoo group. I'll be setting up a forum that's easier to sign-up/post in.

    Well, perhapse you other .ninja people don't want to be allies, but you guys don't do much in the way of making stuff any way, so really it doesn't matter if you say we are or not. The point is that RS and I are making maps together, for the good of both RS and NINJA, so yes, we are allies. Doesn't mean you can't shoot them down, because... well we shoot down eachother any way.
