Hi all,

I'm tottally new to submitting sites to search engines. I know that you can suggest your site to most engines to crawl it. but the site disclamers say they may posted. Also I hear that your site's usefullness is determined by whether or not you have links to and from your site? is this true? What inexpensive options do I have to get the best and/or quickest results for getting my site added to thier databases?

Have good content
Make the sight easy to spider (limit Flash and other fancy things)
Have good content
Convince good sites to link to you
Have good content

A lot of submission companies have a free service. http://www.ineedhits.com is one. You often have to read a fair bit of their advertising to get to it, but you get what you pay for.

Before submitting your site, make sure there is something there with seeing. If your site is spidered and it's empty, then you won't get good results.

If you aren't willing to pay for expensive marketing, it can take a while so be patient.

Its been a while since I posted here since then I have built up the site itself (more content coming soon) but I need to know how can I get sites to link back to me. I've linked to garage games how can i get them to link back to me? Should I email the site administrator about linking posiblities?
