Anyway, it said when I updated yesterday that they will be releasing a new chapter named "aftermath" next week.That should be cool

They mean people still running 9800s and FX5950s will need to upgrade as those cards will not handle the new features. Some of the features are geared towards PS3.0, though one of the valve guys recconed that 2.0b (on the X800 ati cards) will also be supported. He seemed a bit uncertain though when I grilled him about it.

A 3.06 and a 6600gt or 6800gt will be fine for this expansion Garett. They mean people still running 9800s and FX5950s will need to upgrade as those cards will not handle the new features. it only works with dx8.

Yeah I was pissed at valve for not getting source to work with my 5900 in dx9.it only works with dx8.

Looks fantastic... makes me wonder if something like that could support rolling clouds dynamically changing the lighting of a whole scene.
