My GUI designs.

When ever i'm bored, for no real reason I like making random GUI designs (that will never be used), but the thing is... I suck at design.
After boring people on IRC with them I wanted to post them on here to see what you guys think.
Below are links to the last 2 I did.
Main Menu edit: just changed the fonts.
Mission info screen
Please let me know what you think.
oh, and I made a bunch of bridges, each one took me about 2 hours and some are yet to be textured....

Those GUIs are pretty nice. I hate doing GUIs. Nothing EVER looks good. I read every book and article on GUI design I can find but I can never get anything I actually like.

The bridges are nice but seem a little to "perfectly straight" if you know what I mean... they lack a little realism but that's probably due to the texturing more than anything else.
Well done.

The GUIs look clean, sharp and functional without being "industry standard".The bridges are nice but seem a little to "perfectly straight" if you know what I mean... they lack a little realism but that's probably due to the texturing more than anything else.

The red in menu screens kinda conflicts with the rest of the stuff. You got warm stuff all around, try making the red stuff a little more brownish.

@Stephen, yeah I wanted to do something different to try and get away from the standard starter kit menu look, thanks for the comments.
@John, Thanks... I'm not very good at design and I can only do them when I'm in the right mood (which isn't very often) when i'm not in the right mood, my GUI screens just contain box's with Arial font text in (kind of like this one.)
Also, after about an hour playing around with them I begin to hate them, so I delete loads. :(
@Kevin, I know what you mean... I'm still learning to make textures (learnt to make a road texture, and made all the bridges and the tunnel in the same night) so once I learn to make more textures I will change them to look more real. :)
@ Nauris, do you mean the red in just the "main menu" text?

Looks great, but I agree that the main menu text needs to be something other than red.

I've changed the font colour and made the background darker (as suggested by Craig Fortune) Click Here look any better?

Joe: Nice work. Like the bridges, though the UV's for Bridge 3 seem a bit off. You do need some textures on the bridges to show off the detail better, but they look really nice. Good stuff!

I have some ideas for buildings... but i'm dreading it because I always seem to end up with light leaks no matter what I do :(
