Thick black shadows?!

Hi
I have just started playing with the lighting pack (and lighting in general). I remember to have seen a videoclip with LP (lighting pack) and TSE with the dancing orc casting some really heavy shadows on the floor and walls..
Right now I'm working with TGE I want to know wheter the good-looking shadows were a product of TSE or LP? (or both)...
Also I tried to setup a LP-spotlight a few meter from one of the small cottages in the demo and expected the orc to cast a shadow on the wall when standing right in front of the spotlight. I didn't. The light are great in LP but as far as I can tell the shadows are still pretty limited. Or maybe I am wrong, but can anyone clarify this for me?
Thanks
Rasmus

It sounds like you're referring to the videos of the Lighting Pack for TSE tech demo (shown at last IGC). True real-time shadows such as those are not going to make it into the Lighting Pack for TGE, they'll only be in the Lighting Pack for TSE, however I've made significant improvements to the Lighting Pack for TGE's dynamic shadows, which will be available in the next release (it will be a while). Here's a quick example of the new Lighting Pack for TGE dynamic shadows.
