How many of yous guys are working on a great project that is practically writing itself and you can't sleep at night because you can't stop thinking about it and you can't wait until you have something to show off here in this forum and at the same time you're afaid someone else is making a game just like yours because yours is soooo cool? (gasp, gasp) Huh? How many? ;-)

Funny thing is... I got the fever over a simple "learn as you go" game, not even my major idea yet, hehe.

My to-do list is down to less than 10 minor items, not counting artwork. I'm feeling pretty good. I should be ready to show off my demo in a couple of weeks.

I keep having the 'I want to do this' and 'I want to do that also' bug. Finally I said screw it and had one simple idea and have been having a blast with it

@Charlie: that's the way to go. I probably have 2 more minor games to experiment with before I get to my Uber Game

My general routine is to work about about 2 hours at least everyday, but it seems I'll be off schedule until Sunday at the earliest :(

Sigh, I was actually getting pretty far on my shooter, down to some of the C++ guts, but I've had a slew of problems like dealing with broken internet, incoming guests, and a load of real job work. So yeah, I've been chomping fairly hard. My general routine is to work about about 2 hours at least everyday, but it seems I'll be off schedule until Sunday at the earliest :(

My current issue is trying to get T2D to do stuff it wasn't meant to do. :-p Well, not so much wasn't meant to do, but rather what it doesn't support currently. Like mount rotation constraints. Trying to find elegant, or not so elegant, ways of getting to that point somehow.

Something quite basic actually, but I simply haven't had the time to dig in to T2D and figure out the best technique to do so.

Mine is actually just trying to find out the best implementation of using T2D to display a 2-D projected "map" of TGE terrain using tiles!Something quite basic actually, but I simply haven't had the time to dig in to T2D and figure out the best technique to do so.
