Are there any legal services offered for those who might choose to publish games through GarageGames? For example, are there any GarageGames staff that might be able to provide legal assistance to form an LLC or such to protect an individual who would like to publish a game?

Ok... i'm kidding. If you publish thru GGs they will help you out and make sure you're not doing anything obviously stupid, but i don't think you'll see things like LLC creation.
Tom Buscaglia sells a Game Developer Start-Up Kit that some my find useful.
Honestly forming an LLC is fairly easy and can be done by sending a form and a few bucks to the right state address.
