GID#11 - One Knight Army

Well, my time is up, and I was unable to complete my game. Got pretty far, but there's no sound, and not all of the graphics are where I'd like them to be (particularly the "cannonball hitting a knight" animation).
I may or may not continue with this, but either way, it was a tremendous learning experience and a great way to blow 24 hours :)

I'm too beat (not to mention getting sick) to explain what the point of the game is, but I will be making a .plan to document my Game In A Day attempt, and I may even include a download of the game for those who want to check it out.

@Charlie - I'll definitely post something once there is actually a game flow. Right now it just jumps right in and resets at game end. I'd like to set up something to hold a best score, and of course, a simple title screen. Soon, I hope :)
@Melv - Be careful what you offer ;) Actually, I won't be taking this game much further (beyond some sound and the gameflow as mentioned above), but I do have something in the works in a similar visual style. It's going to be a little more involved, so I may just take you up on that offer. I promise not to overdo it :)
@Chris - That's the same thing my girlfriend said. Have you seen the movie yet? Any good?

I've not seen the movie but I'm somewhat familiar with the comics. I've heard the movie is extremely violent and has quite a bit of sexual content (niether necessarily bad things, just FYI). I'll probably go see it soon just for it's unique style.

Maybe so :) I'm actually a little confused about how the queue works. (Actually I'm a little confused about how a lot of things work. It's a bit of problem I have :P )

If you click here you should see your snapshot as "pending." Only you can see the snapshot you submitted until it gets approved and displayed. Sometimes it can take as much as a week or more depending on how many others there are. Believe me, if labrats was up for a week I am sure your snapshot will get its day in the sun :)
