@zMathew: Hope I'm not hacking this thread. Just to let you know, I'm not much of a design person myself; mostly into programming in general.
But by creating some design standards that we can all agree to follow, I think it would really facilitate the learning process alot. If I could be of any help in this area, I can certainly try to draw some up, but I think even just some very basic design documents and skeleton code frameworks for starters would be a great addition!:) Everbody is encouraged to participate!:)

Quote:Would be cool to have a T2D project Roadmap. Some kind of A-Z skeleton plan of how a T2D project should be made cradle to grave.

That is mostly the general idea behind the Hello World tutorials. It takes and builds a complete T2D game step by step from scratch.

Don't do that. It means more if the carving is from Josh.

but getting back on subject,

Lol call me whichever of them you like... in my college class theres three Matt's so I have numerous nicknames, I answer to just about anything (lol note the "just about")

In fact I was thinking of that yesterday (making a tutorial suggestion thread)... in the background I'm working on a C++ tutorial, though the concept behind that one is a bit advanced so I have to really be able to sit down and focus a bit (in the meantime I'll work on scripting tutorials too)

GG puts out enough quality stuff for such a low price... I'm just happy to help people and give something back to the community.

Well, when I thought of the tut suggestion thread, I thought about it in the sense where anyone can go ahead and make a tutorial if they know something that may be of assistance to someone else.

I didn't want that to come off as expecting you to make all the tutorials. Considering what you have done for the community and all.

Lol np... As I was creating it was thinking along the same lines... that way if someone has done something on the list they can make a tutorial out of it for people :)
