New Torque Game: Delerium

Currently, we're busy finishing our torque game-project made during a new media workshop at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy (8 students / 6 weeks). It's basically been a testcase to see if game engines can be used to tell a short story / create an experience that's more akin to film than a game.
The goal for the students was to write a short story that could be played in about 10 to 15 minutes in one level. In the single player story Delerium you have to find your way through a increasingly surreal city. What was achieved in the past weeks by a group with no prior knowledge of torque, but experience in 3D, film and some C++:

learn torque
create terrain
create models for buildings and objects
install the lighting pack and create a well-lit level
build and animate set-pieces
create an rig sound
create character models and animations
build graphical inventory manager
camera's that can be switched to during set-pieces, so a scene is viewed from a more cinematic angle

what is currently being worked on / what we're having trouble with:

getting the animations of several NPC in the engine and improving the animation of the lead character

All in all the group had a tough 3 weeks getting up to speed with Torque, Quark etc. (Since they're used to Maya). But after that intial hurdle a lot of progress has been made...

Some screenshots for the time being, more information soon:
