Confused about the DSQ export process.

I have been having some trouble getting the DSQ export feature to work
properly. I am using Milkshape 1.7.4 with the jill.ms3d file included in the
Bravetree Girl Pack. I am trying to export DSQ animation sequences using
the DTS Plus exporter and NOT the built-in Milkshape DTS exporter. The
process appears to run smoothly except that after exporting each animation
sequence into DSQ, every resulting DSQ is the same size, 207 KB. This
seems to imply that all the sequences are being exported at once instead of
just the one I have selected. Is there some way to only export one animation sequence at a time?

I feel as though I'm missing something obvious. =)

EDIT: I am attempting after writing this to save a seperate .ms3d file
for each animation sequence, to see if it will produce useable DSQs.
That just seems counter-intuitive somehow.

Interesting...I just ran a copy of the jill.ms3d file that ships with the BT content pack, and using the DTSPlus! exporter, I processed[exported] the root and run sequences independently, after first Removing the extra sequence listings[back, side, etc...] in the dialog and exported each as a DSQ, with export animations checked, and got two separate DSQ files, sized 20 & 16 KB, respectively...how did you define only the sequence data you wanted for each DSQ attempt? by deleting the material listing via the Milkshape UI Materials Tab? or by using the dialog and editing the sequence data there? might make a difference, not sure?

...I used no .CFG file for any of this. Doing so, will probably improve results, I have seen them work quite effectively in exporting only the data you need in the shape thru Milkshape. I loaded each into the jill.dts[sized @ 140 KB] shape I exported after the DSQ's, and everything seemed fine. I didn't config the Nodes for each, but I bet that would work as well...

I also wonder if there is any intention to expand this exporter, now that Ms3d now utilizes Comment Notes in the model, group, material, and bones...!;)

Ah well, no, I was actually trying to remove the actual keyframes from the model, not successfully =)

Anyway I will try removing the animation sequences from the exporter dialog,
that sounds like the info I needed, thank you =)

EDIT: Resounding success, you have been most helpful =)
