T2D updates coming soon

Hi everyone,
Melv and I wanted to let you know about the update plans we have for the next few weeks. We will be releasing two updates in the next few weeks. Here is the rough layout for them. Lots of info to cover so please read carefully. :)
SDK update - T2D SDK 1.01
Coming: next week (I hope.. please don't freak out if we have to slip somehow; if we do, it will be to ensure more stability / kill more bugs in the release, so it'd be a good thing!)
Changes: (this is a pretty small update)
-Fixes most bugs reported from the initial release, and more that were unreported.
-Several documentation updates
-Introduces new demo and hopefully a corresponding tutorial
(continued next post...)

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to quite finish the fishdemo tutorial, but I'll make that available soon here. The tutorial also covers making a new project in T2D and packaging up a project for release. The script source for the fish demo is included with the new install though.
Re: file re-naming, as stated in the first posts here, that'll come in the 1.1 update (this is the 1.0.2 update).

Windows packaging done and all tested. Mac and Linux next... then hopefully Rick will have time to upload it to the site today. I have meetings pretty much all day with ATI today in the office here, but should have time to finish the Mac and Linux packages.Unfortunately, I didn't have time to quite finish the fishdemo tutorial, but I'll make that available soon here. @Randy: From what I understand this won't include any networking additions. It's mostly bug fixes and minor additions.

You seem to be resending what you posted. I know that's how it is in Safari anyway.
Close the window and then open it again from General Discussion again.

@Josh: Thanks for the update... I can definately relate with the time to finish up a tutorial... takes more time than most people think =/ It will be much appreciated :) Also looking forward that fish demo source in this update, my team's designer and I have a very cool main menu idea using T2D for GUIs and probably using your lighting effects as a starting point :)

@Melv: lol you get too much done! you need to slow down so people won't start expecting so much... of course thats what seperates you and GG from other publishers/game engine creators@Josh: Thanks for the update... Matt, the lighting effects in the fish demo are actually deceptively simple to recreate. :)

@LoTekK: lol your right... I remember them saying it just a couple layers, but really like how it came out, will help to look at their code as a starting point

So what exactly is involved in putting a package together? Apparently quite a bit since it takes quite a while . Just wondering so as to kill time while waiting.

He's got to do the actual packaging, and then test it on all of their major test platform configurations to make sure it works for their test beds.
Then, he has to do it for all 3 platforms.

I wouldn't count on it tonight (although Josh has been known to pull off miracles!).He's got to do the actual packaging, and then test it on all of their major test platform configurations to make sure it works for their test beds.
