Silo and XSI both can export to .obj which can then be converted to .dts by this resource...

Obj2DTS

@Gonzo (or anyone who knows) - To use Obj2DTS... Is there anything special you have to do ? Or will any .obj work ? I'm not an artist, I'm just curious.

EDIT: I read the link to the exporter. It doesnt say anything about animations or whatnot. So I am assuming you can't export an animated dts. I don't have a clue about dsq files (or animation at all for the most part) ... Can you stick joints and bones in your mesh ?

@chris, See the resource page for obj2dts:

http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=7541

"DTS Features not supported:
-No animation features are available as they are not supported in the obj format.
-No auto details (multires) are generated, although obj2dts completely supports mesh details set up by hand.
-IFL materials currently not supported.
-No hierarchies nor nodes are currently supported at the moment due to the many differing implementations of the .obj format.
-No Mac version, yet."

DTS does support bones, kinematics and shape animation, but your DTS exporter or converter has to be compliant with those features. See the DTS exporter matrix which lists feature by feature
