Construction brushes

This may be a noob question. If so, a pointer to the appropriate documentation will be appreciated.

In 2D and 3D CAD programs, the user can create construction lines and construction brushes. These never show up in the finished product, and are never exported, but they're very useful as drawing and sizing guides. If I were modeling my house, for example, I would create a box the same size and shape as my house as my first step, and then build the rest of the house using the box as a guide.

Does CShop have anything similar, besides just the grid? I think QuArK does, but I'm not sure.

I don't think so, but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

Would being able to show/hide groups count?

Yes, that might do it.

@Ray - I used to use Autocad myself so i understand construction lines and the like. CartShop4 doesn't have this, but i suggest posting a new topic requesting this feature for version 5 at the TGE forum.

@Tom: thanks, I'll do that.
