Shifting animation within a sequence?

Okay, I have a model with an animation [Yay!]. It's has one mesh in it that goes through a pretty simple animation.
I would like to have 4 meshes total, that all follow the same animation, put are spaced evenly apart [i.e. frame 7 for object 2 is the same as frame 0 for object 1, assuming a 32 frame animation [0-31]].
So I clone the first object, go into the curve editor, select the keys for the object, and slide them 8 frames to the right. The problem is, this $3k app doesn't wrap the keys around when they reach the last frame....it just places them outside the animation length.
Barring some complicated solution that involves splines, paths, 128 frame animations, or math, is there an easy way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
