Animation example

Is there, somewhere, an example with an animated sprite to show how it is done. Just a sprite a script file and its image file for the animation frames would be helpful.

There is an example of an animated sprite in the FAQ. The direct link to the coressponding question with answer is www.garagegames.com/uploaded/code/7298.torque2dunofficialfaq.html#6

Hope this helps.

No problem :)
The T2D FAQ is kinda hard to find... AFAIK it's not in the FAQ list llinked at the left - at least I couldn't find it there. But since I knew that there was a post with a link, I had a slight advantage.

Happy coding,
Lenny

Its currently an un-official faq, but I'm sure as T2D reaches the end of the EA phase it will be updated to show only the unfixed problems and FAQ's and probably made into an official faq at some point :)

Thx for linking the T2D Unofficial FAQ... right now I'm trying to keep it updated at least weekly, GG has expressed that they are working on a solution to help with documentation and resources (something along the lines of wiki has been possibly hinted at), so Gary is completely right that as it progresses in EA I expect there will be ways to include it official documentation (or at least easier to find documentation), presently its just the word of mouth lol, I try to keep the T2D Unofficial FAQ page bumped as much without looking ridiculous so new users can catch the link, try passing the word as much as possible... the actual resource link is

www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=7298

you can bookmark it, (from there the .html file is linked) and I also list additional resources on that, I just finished a huge T2D tutorial last night (spent 6+ hours on it in all), in the html print preview page it says 92 pages lol... It goes over each step in creating the T2D Physics Demo including going over the GUI and much more
