Unreal Championship 2, Anyone else played it yet?

I have the Official XBOX magazine playable demo of the game and I must say that I have not been this thoroughly impressed with a game since Ninja Gaiden. Simply put; the addition of Melee along with the new acrobatic mobility makes this game phenomenal. Not that there have not been great melee dethmatch games in the past........ OK well thee is only one, Rune, but that is beside the point.
There are only three playable characters in the demo, three DM maps, and two CTF maps, and only four players allowed to a match, but this game is just so unbelievably fun and intense that it does not matter. Honestly I think I have put in about 10 hours of gameplay time on this demo and have no inclination to stop before the game's actual release.
But to get to the point I think that this will be a watermark for online DM games to come. HALO evolved the FPS genre with vehicles and now UC2 will evolve the online action game with melee and super acrobatic mobility.
SO what I am wondering is how difficult would this be to do with Torque, and is there anyone else interested in working on such a project with me. I have some meager 3d modeling talent, I plan to start learning to texture and animate VERY soon, and have some degree of traditional 2d art talent.

Just my take. I've become more and more critical of the games I buy, and days like today it shows.

I thought it was okay. But then, I felt that the only worthwhile playtime I had with Halo/2 was spent in co-op play. The multiplayer, while excellent for consoles, paled in comparison to PC predecessors. I preferred the clunky system in Breakdown and the finger snapping fun of Jedi Knight II a bit more in terms of melee combat in FPS's.Just my take. It actually looks pretty cool. I really liked their approach in the interview, and the deal with Midway to include some Mortal Kombatesque touches fits in surprisingly nicely. If it came to PC, I would play it. ;)Ian

I'm in love with the demo too, I can't wait for the final product to come out. I really love the melee aspect and the fact that the weapons are simplified. Since you can only choose from two weapons it really focuses the experience more and makes you choose how you want to play before the match starts.
