When I was trying to buy the Torque engine it seems as if there is no way to send it through PayPal. Since all the money I have is ON PayPal, would there be any way for me to pay through there? I mean, I do not have a credit card, so, using PayPal is the only way I can buy stuff on the internet. If you can please help me out it would be extremely great.

But, I am a very impatient person, I can't wait that long, also, money order costs money.... So, if I took out $100*not including the $2.50 paypal charges to withdraw money* I would still need like another $10 to send it. (BTW, you guys are good, I barely posted this like 45 seconds ago, you guys are good.)

No, I am only 16. It took me like 5 hours just to convince my dad that PayPal wasn't a scam *he doesn't know much about computers*. So, I doubt he will pay Torque for me.

Anyway for your question, a money order is your best bet for the quickest method to get the torque engine.

Try to get your parents to get you a bank account with a debit card. Most debit card have the mastercard/visa logos so you can use that. And please put your money in a bank account. PayPal is not a bank and doesn't adhere to any laws regulating banks.Anyway for your question, a money order is your best bet for the quickest method to get the torque engine.

Some of the sites out there take paypal to get the cards. If you are serious enough, you may want to look into it

Esteban. There are online pre-paid credit cards out there that act the same but have a limit, Like a gift cert. Some of the sites out there take paypal to get the cards. If you are serious enough, you may want to look into it

Ok, thank you, you have been incredibly helpful. I will try to do what Lois has says. Since I already took all but $100 from my paypal account today, should arrive in about a week, I will ask my dad then to open up a debit card account for me.

www.webcertificate.com/
I've used them in the past to send a prepaid mastercard number to my mother and everything worked great.
It's also reusable if he wants to keep putting money in there for you to do things with.

As far as your father buying you a prepaid card, he may want to check out:www.webcertificate.com/

You can get a virtual debit card from PayPal instantly. It should work anywhere that takes MasterCard. And it's free. At your PayPal account page goto Withdraw then select the "Shop online with a PayPal virtual card" option.

You need a card with the 3 digit security code on it.

The virtual debits don't work here, unless they changed something. You need a card with the 3 digit security code on it.

We have been warming up to using PayPal as a method of payment. However, it will be some time before it happens because we will need to implement a new shopping cart. Once we have this new cart, we will also have much better facilities for wire transfers, American Express, and European credit cards.-Jeff Tunnell GG

Another reason to support PayPal is for privacy. I have a co-worker who will ONLY shop using PayPal online because she has had her identity stolen in the past.

I have a paypal credit card that is just like a real credit card, but it debits my paypal account. I don't know if they are still available, but I have had it for about 3 years. I can also use the card ATMs to take out my paypal cash instead of transfering it to my bank.

Yah, but I found out you need to have your bank account signed up on there and there's no way in hell my dad would do that.

What about the card you get at the bank, like VISA gift cards that work just like a credit/debit card ?

is available after you have had your PayPal account in good standing for 30 days (maybe 60 or 90). It has a MasterCard logo and can be used for any online purchase that accepts MasterCard. (Almost)
And, PayPal _is_ a bank and adheres to all federal laws concerning banks. Check the info on paypal.com
EDIT-- this card is a plastic debit card exactly like the one from the bank
It even includes the 3-digit security code on the back as mentioned.

But it needs the code, the one off numbers don't have that.

Midhir: THAT card will work. I tied it, bought the tank pack with it.But it needs the code, the one off numbers don't have that.

I've been looking to order products for quite awhile now, but neither payment options were available. I think that's a shame - customers probably will be prepared to include an extra fee for PayPal-payments if required. I know I wouldn't mind. I hope you can get it up and running so I can finally order some licences :)

It would be really great if GarageGames would accept PayPal payments as well. On the Internet I prefer payment using my bank's telebanking direct money transfer, and if that's not possible: PayPal.I've been looking to order products for quite awhile now, but neither payment options were available. If I could pay via PayPal would almost certainly buy the TGE and the 2D TGB. Would probably get the RTS add-on as well.

I too would really like PayPal payments. I sell my own game and accept payments using PayPal so have built up a balance. As I don't withdraw the money from my PayPal account and there are no physical costs associated with distribution of my game I don't always treat it the same as physical money :) I therefore tend to use it for things I *may* not spend real money on. If I could pay via PayPal would almost certainly buy the TGE and the 2D TGB. Would probably get the RTS add-on as well.

Could you also consider adding 'E-Currencies'(e-gold,WebMoney Transfer and so on) as method of paying?
