Can't get transparency in my structure

What is my mistake? I try to use some transparency textures for my windows in my map. I made this by using the tutorial from Desmond Flechter, original in the same manner. But the result is, no transparency. I did replace the texture in the torque folder for my interior, so my transparency texture is loaded. During producing my maps in QuArk, I'm using the original texture as JPG version, in torque I'm using the PNG version with alpha transparency.

thank you for the link, much of work and easy to make a mistake during patching I think but I will

(I suppose I could look at the source code myself. Lazy me. I'll go have a look, but if someone posts an answer before I get around to it ...)
Answering my own question: It turns out that we still have to use the patch, but the patch works fine in TGE 1.4.

Sorry for poking an old thread, but I have to ask: is the transparency rendering capability built into TGE 1.4, or do we still need to do the patch?(I suppose I could look at the source code myself. Lazy me. I'll go have a look, but if someone posts an answer before I get around to it ...)
