Can't view documentation?

by Harold Driscoll · in Torque Game Engine · 02/28/2005 (6:43 pm) · 16 replies

I'm logged in, but when I try to look at the docs, it has the big "SAMPLE" writing on it.
I deleted my cookies, retried and still nothing. I never had this problem before.

I recently bought the book " 3D game Programming All In One" so I wanted to start playing with Torque, and see if I can make anything remotely interesting. But I'm gonna need guidance, thats where the docs will be extremely helpful.

Thanks...

You can only view the docs for things you purchased. eg. you cant see the tse docs unless you buy the tse.

Ben, it's obvious it's right when he loads them.

It souldn't be too hard for GG to fix it for your account once someone finds out about it.

I am having the same problem currently. As recently as last night I was looking at the documentation for TGE but tonight (still logged in, even logged out and back in) and all I get is the preview.

This is confirmed (by me)--it appears that the web guru is working on something related to the owner validation checks for the web site.

I've sent an email to the appropriate folks (I think!), so hopefully they will be working on it soon!

(no need for additional confirmations, hehe!)

If it helps I have the same issue as of tonight. I did purchase TGE and was able to view the SDK docs, for example, before but now I only get the Sample docs.

I'm having the same troubles, and I just got the engine. Lol. Oh well, guess it's off to pushing buttons for me.

Usually we make changes to the site and no one notices... sometimes we make changes with unintended results... I'm sure we'll get it fixed in the morning. Thanks for you patience.

Not fixed for everyone it seems because I still get the big Sample written across mine and when I find a link to TGEA documentation on the web it gives me TSE documentation instead. I have been pulling my hair out for a month now trying to get started and can't seem to get the first step down.

TGEA is the new name of TSE and this documentation are only visible to TGEA owners, not TGE owners :)
