If the subscription give access to all existing content, most customers will only subscribe one month, grab the content and if their are happy, come back 6 or 12 month later for a new 1 month subscription.

I finish what I start. If we get 10 people to put the money in for 3 months of subscription then I will deliver media each month as promised.

One of the benafits of being a subscriber over just purchasing packs is that you will have some say in what gets made. Right now i'm thinking of something along the lines of users nominating and then voting on what they would like to have created. Ultimately it would up to me or josh but input from the subscribers would play a big role in what get produced. There is more reading availible on the leadwerks forums.. leadwerks.com

Yes, I realize everyone won't use everything. That's why we are letting users have all our existing media, plus everything that gets made. Even if you only used a few texture and model packs, a subscription would still be less expensive than buying them individually...and you get to request what you want us to make! Not only that, but having a regular income means that we can make a lot more media in the first place, so you have more of a selection.

Of course, we aren't going to make textures for a "Japanese air-hockey Care Bears" game, but if you have a theme you want, that is reusable for other people, we can do it. When we made the latest sci-fi pack, I just sent Alec a bunch of textures from UT2004 and said "make something like this".

#24 Hey everybody, I just wanted to call some attention to this thread again. I think that this media subscription plan could work out really well for
my game and I'm sure there are alot of you out there that could get some benefit from it too. I've signed up, but there needs to be more interest
before it happens, so if you are at all interested check out the website and think about signing up to test it out.

#26 We're now beginning production for the month of May. Members can access a private forum on the Leadwerks site and request themed model and texture packs.
